It’s a Good Day

I got Grady! I am now satisfied. That does not mean I will not make any trades in the future but that was my only real goal so now I have succeeded. A special thanks to Darion over at Braves World for accepting my trade. Although I think most people would probably say he came out on top. He probably did when you take away personal factors. 🙂
This is Grady when he found out he was successfully traded to my team. He was also pretty happy to learn that he was worth Teixeira, Granderson, and Damon to somebody.
Another Victory!

The Indians won today and in dramatic fashion.
Jeremy Sowers had a strong outing giving up only one run and three hits. He walked one and struck out two. The other Indians relievers combined for five scoreless innings. The Indians and Mariners were locked in a one-run tie until the bottom of the ninth when Chis Gimenez hit a three-run home run to give the Indians the 4-1 win.
Indians’ pitching has improved a lot in the past couple of days and I could not be happier. I love that all of the fifth rotation spot contenders have all started to step up and show that they deserve the fifth spot. Nothing makes good players like a little competition.
Road Trip
My parents and I are going to Kansas City this Thursday to see Clemson play in the first round of the NCAA tournament. I am so excited! As I mentioned before the Tigers are a #7 seed. They will playing Michigan at 6:10 Thursday night. We are also planning on seeing Maryland play before Clemson as well.

Julia- Thanks! And I think B-Rob may be Jordan’s Grady. 😉
King- I need a closer so I’ll be looking.
Scott- Sorry. Not a Yankees fan. He is good though but I needed Grady.
Greg- Yeah but I had to make sure I got Grady. I don’t need Granderson if I have Grady.
Jordan- I didn’t even want to pick him; the computer did that when it signed me off. So I just got rid of him.

Good luck in your fantasy league!
Chris Gimenez sounds like a heck of a player and could possibly see time this season if their is an injury or some of the kids get into a slump. Chris is very versatile and can move around the field.
Make sure to check out the blog.

Although I said this before….Doctor, I can’t come into work today. I have a bad case of March Madness. ;-)So you’re heading to KC? The games are at the Sprint Center, right? Well, again, it looks to be an intriguing matchup, but as an alum of a Big Ten university, I must say…Go Blue! :-PI will not be in Portland, but I will be watching the Boilers somewhere. Tip-off is at 2:30 EDT (1:30 CDT), so I am going to have to make some arrangements. ;-)Also, once again, in the event that you did not see the previous comment, I ask that you please check your Facebook. :-)Finally, I will leave you with one of the great all-time fight songs (no matter what you think of the university or its athletic department, it’s a great fight song):Hail! to the victors valiant
Hail! to the conquering heroesHail! Hail! to MichiganThe leaders and best….Take care! :-D–Eric
